When I first shaped this cake it came out too fat after applying the fondant so I had to rip it off and carve it more. I drew the little jumpman symbol with an edible fondant writing pen. I painted on the black food color which really gave it a patent leather look. This was eventually placed on top of 2 more tiers.

Pacman 5&A Dime cake
I made this cake a few years ago for a Pacquiao fight. It was inspired by a 5&A Dime designed shirt. I love working with my airbrush and wax paper! I used the same technique for this thundercats cake.
Coach purse cake
I was asked to make a Coach bag for someone's birthday. There were no specifics so I went onto the website and found my inspiration. I only made one other purse cake but it was not standing up. I made the logo from one of my own bags by pressing gumpaste directly on it creating a mold. Once the mold hardened I just pressed more gumpaste into it and trimmed the excess gumpaste. The handle was made in advance with gumpaste as well so I was able to place it sticking up straight.
